What In the Folds size do you wear? : Size F
What bust cup size do you normally make / wear?: B cup
Which pattern did you use?: Peppermint jumpsuit
What type of fabric did you make the garment/s from?: A faux suede woven material
What alterations (if any) did you make to the pattern/s?: I lengthened the bodice and legs by 2” each.
If you made this pattern/s again, would you do anything differently?: I’d make a crotch adjustment. I used the original crotch but I have a fuller bum so need to add more fabric there also move the busy dart higher to sit correctly on my apex.
What would be your top tip for other makers using this pattern/s? As it is a jumpsuit I’d suggest a muslin to see the fit. Specifically the rear. And the bust darts as we all are different.
I'd love to hear about a happy memory from when you made or wore this garment or garments!: Every time I wear my jumpsuit I get many compliments. The first time I wore it last year I felt so confident as I am normally a plane Jane kind of mom so it was great to feel fancy for a change.
What do you love most about In the Folds patterns?: Learning new methods. I am always keen to learn new sewing skills and tips.
